A Reality TV Happy Ending

Welcome back to Get Real! It’s here, it’s here! Jillian will finally be making her decision on The Bachelorette!

It was time for Ed to meet the family. Ed had to basically tell Jillian’s family about how he left her and then came back to her. I think the family might have some worried thoughts about him leaving but he made a big step by actually coming back. Dang, Jillian’s mom had some tough questions for Ed! They were super serious but Ed handled them very well and didn’t seem frazzled by them. He just seemed so comfortable with her family.

Kiptyn’s visit with Jillian’s family was next and I don’t know how this will go. I think he will do well with them. But I think they are too physically attracted to each other and there isn’t much substance below that. I really like Kiptyn and I agree with what her family was saying about him being the same as her and being on the same wavelength as Jillian. But I think she might need someone to push her to do other things. Basically, I think she needs to be with Ed! Hehe.

Jillian’s dad was clearly favoring Ed but I think her mom and cousin liked Kiptyn. But I think they were pulled in by his instant charm.

It was time for Ed’s last date and, oh what a surprise, they took a helicopter! There can never be another The Bachelor or The Bachelorette without a helicopter ride. Geesh. But, luckily, the two of them were able to feel romantic and sexy with each other. I think this date more than made up for their last “problem.” How can she not realize how in love with her he is and that this is totally what every girl dreams of!? If she doesn’t choose Ed, I will think she is just insane. And my thoughts about anything ever coming from this show will go down even more.

Kiptyn’s date was last. They seem like two people just out of college/grad school who are now spending their summer vacation together. It’s all cute and fun but like the last hurrah before life finally kicks in.

And now it’s finally the day where she makes her choice. What an exciting and horribly nerve-wracking day. I envy her and the guys that she has but I don’t envy this choice she has to make. I am having bad feelings…I think she says no to Ed. I don’t know why I am thinking this but I am having such bad feelings! That would make me just so sad.

Okay, moment of truth. The first guy out of the limos is…Kiptyn! Oh my gosh! She chooses Ed! Oh, but this is going to be so sad. Oh, he is just telling her all of these wonderful things and she just isn’t saying anything back! It’s so sad and horrible. Ugh, I always loved Kiptyn but I just knew as soon as she had her first date with Ed that there was no one else for her except Ed. Thankfully, I think Kiptyn will have no problem finding someone new to love. Gosh, isn’t one of the most heartbreaking things to see a guy be heartbroken?

Um….what?! Reid came back! Oh man. If only he had done this sooner, then it could have been between him and Ed. But I still think that Ed is the one for her. As much as I love Reid, Ed is definitely the one for Jillian. Oh, but Reid proposed to her! Ugh, this was very unfair of him.

Oh yay…I am so excited to see Ed propose to Jillian! I think this relationship will totally work outside of the show. I am hoping so, at least!

And now we get to the “After the Final Rose” segment, to see how Jillian and Ed are doing! But first, we got a quick recap of how things are going for Melissa since Jason broke things off with her. She looked good and it’s nice to know that things are going well for her.

Kiptyn was back to discuss his journey on the show. Oh, it was so painful and awkward to see Kiptyn watching what happened. I feel so bad for him because I really do like Kiptyn. He seemed really calm about the situation and I think he handled it very well. I sincerely hope that he finds a really special girl because he is so wonderful and deserves someone really great.

Reid came out next and got a huge applause from the audience. Oh, I felt bad for him, too! I love him and if Ed wasn’t there, I think Reid would have been my favorite. Oh, and you can tell that he is getting emotional watching what happened. Ugh, I feel so bad!! You could tell that he was so in love with her and it’s so heartbreaking. I sincerely think that he will find someone because I think everyone just fell in love with him during the show.

Oh gosh, it was just so dang cute to see Jillian and Ed together! It’s like they couldn’t wait to see each other again and it was so nice to not be in secret. It just seemed so real, too. I am hoping so much that things last between them because I love them to pieces! Plus, it totally seems like the host, Chris Harrison, really enjoys talking with Jillian and this is the most personable he has been throughout all of the seasons. It was really cute and I feel like he is just one of their friends.

Welcome to The Men's Gossip Hour!

Welcome back to Get Real! Catching up with all of the madness that was last week, here is the men’s tell-all on The Bachelorette.

The show opened with Jillian having a chat with Chris Hanson without the studio audience. They chatted about Tanner’s foot fetish, David’s disrespect, Ed’s departure and second arrival, and the dreaded Wes. She didn’t really get into a lot of details with any of them.

We got to see this hilarious moment when Ed was drunk and just couldn’t talk to Jillian at all. It was so funny! Then Jillian and Chris talked about when Robbie has asked to go home on the train in Canada and how the train missed the stop and what should have taken just a few moments was actually a lot longer and much more awkward than it should have been. We also saw that Jillian visited Kiptyn’s charity in San Diego that he works for. I can now see how she may be falling for him more because of that. Though I still think that she needs to choose Ed!

Stupid Jason and Molly came out next to greet the studio audience. I could really care less what is happening with this couple. I know that they are happy with each other but I still don’t like them. I never liked her and I don’t like him. Next, please!

Now it was finally time to meet the guys. Hmm, Jesse and Jake got the biggest applause. Reid and Wes weren’t there which was sad because I wanted to hear from both of them. Oh man, these guys sometimes are worse than catty girls! They were just ripping on Jake. I think all the guys are just jealous of him because they know that girls like him. Oh, well. He will be fine, I’m sure. Then the infamous David and Juan fiasco – enough already! Jesse was right in that David let Juan get under his skin. And all this talk about man code! Ugh. Whatever. They are just so silly and ridiculous. All of them! They really are worse than the girls. Haha!

Oh, watching David’s hot-seat moment was so awkward. I wonder what he was thinking watching that back. Okay, I don’t think that his comment about her butt too bad because he had known her for a while and its okay to say that she has a nice butt. But his other comments were out of line and his man code and his attitude definitely made him come off pretty bad.

Jake was next on the hot-seat and I felt so bad for him. I know the guys in the back are all cringing and snickering at him because he’s so “perfect” but oddly enough, all the women in the audience are just loving every minute of him! Jake reminds me of any of the guys in Nicolas Sparks’ novels. I think he will be just fine in life, especially after this.

Surprise, surprise, Wes wasn’t there to tell his side of the story. But, that didn’t prevent Chris from showing his journey on the show and opening it up for everyone to talk about! Naturally, everyone hated him.

Finally, Jillian joined the group. I bet it was awkward for her to see all of the guys there. Not much really happened and there wasn’t a lot of talk between her and the guys.

In the end, my vote is still for Ed! Ed TFW! Hehe.

You Can't Hurry Love...Oh, Wait...

Welcome back to Get Real! It’s a double dose of The Bachelorette so let’s just get right into it.

Last time, we ended on a bitter-sweet note. Ed came back (yay!) but Wes stayed (boo!). Now, Jillian and the remaining four bachelors have made their way to Spain for a romantic getaway.

Jillian’s first date in Spain was with Kiptyn. They are such a cute couple! Oh, but Kiptyn kinda laid a big bomb on Jillian by saying that he thinks a proposal is way off. And I totally agree with him because why would you get engaged after only a few months? And in such a setting? He is being completely realistic and I think that is something that might eventually come between these two.

Then the two took a Flamenco lesson and boy does Jillian have no rhythm at all! Haha!

When they had dinner, Jillian had some “tough” questions for Kiptyn. She talked to him about kids, his ex-girlfriends, what he might change about himself, etc. Ok, this may be a first in my recent Bachelorette memory – Jillian turned down the overnight fantasy suite card! Okay, I don’t understand something. She is unsure about him and his insecurity about proposing to her too fast and yet she doesn’t want to move forward with the overnight date. I don’t get it! She needs to make up her mind on what she wants! Ugh.

The next date was with Reid. I love him. He is my second favorite guy and I can totally see them together. Though, they still seem to be in that honeymoon phase and I don’t know how either of them would react to their first fight or the slightest hint of irritation. Ok, she declined again! Why does she keep pushing them away but then also pressure them in other ways?! She’s confusing!

Finally it’s time for the date with Ed! Hooray! I just love Ed and I want them to end up together! He’s so much more perfect for her than I thought he would be. I don’t care that he left her once…I think that means he won’t do it again. He is totally my favorite! I like that he seems to be the most normal of the guys, too. Yay, she didn’t decline Ed!! :)

Ugh, there was one last date with the dreaded Wes. I can’t believe he’s still there. Ah, he is just too good at being smooth. But at least she was finally seeing that he is not actually interested in her. As much as it sucks for her and as sad as it is that she is going to be hurt by him, it’s definitely something she needs to go through so that she can get over him. I sincerely hope that she is listening to what he is saying because he is telling her that his manager wanted him to get exposure and that any publicity is good publicity.

OK, Jillian – he just said that he had a girlfriend! And then had to catch himself and say “ex-girlfriend.” And even after that he said that he thought they should use the fantasy suite. Thank goodness you were actually smart and didn’t take him up on it!

HOORAY!!! WES IS GOING HOME! Ugh, he is such an asshole. I have never hated anyone on reality TV more than him. Well, except maybe Heidi and Spencer! ;)

Now she is taking Ed, Reid, and Kiptyn to Maui for another romantic getaway.

Once again, her first date was with Kiptyn. They went to some strange rope course. Ah, yet another metaphor for love! Taking a leap of faith and showing your commitment. How original! Oh, but it was really cute the way they were talking to each other all coupley and such. This was really the first time that I could really see them as a couple and get some sort of idea about what their future would be like. It was cute. Jillian finally took her “leap of faith” and used the fantasy suite with Kiptyn.

Reid was next on the dating schedule. I still really like him. Did Jillian really say that she’s always wanted to go on a helicopter ride above Maui? Who counts that as something you really want to do in life?! In the end I think things will move too fast for Reid and that will be what gets in between them. I think he is definitely falling in love for her but it’s just too soon. And I can understand his sentiments completely!

Last but certainly not least was Ed’s date. Ugh, I just love him! And he surprised her by flying his parents out to Hawaii to meet Jillian! So cute!! I am just hoping that things go well because I love them together so much. Hmm, Jillian gave Ed the fantasy suite card before dinner! A little anxious, are we? Ok, I need to say that I do not like Ed’s hair in the date. It’s so nerdy looking, haha! Aw, he is the only one to tell her so far that he is falling in love with her! Hooray. BUT, the most awkward thing happened! Now, I have seen enough of these shows to know what happens on these overnight dates. But it has never been explicitly said or displayed before. So it was a little surprising when they went into more detail with Ed and kind of uncomfortable to watch! And I really didn’t need to know that he was unable to “seal the deal.” I mean, yes, that is, of course, a big deal, sure. But why make it such a deal? Awkward…

Oh gosh, I have no idea who she is going to choose!! She just better choose Ed that’s all I say. How she can even think of denying that she and Ed are clearly meant to be together is beyond me! She pulled him aside to make sure things were okay even and I just hope, hope, hope that it means she trusts him.

Okay, so she chooses Kiptyn first which I knew was going to happen. Even though I think that it should have been between Reid and Ed and not Kiptyn, I knew she would choose him. But she also chose Ed! Oh, thank goodness! And I knew that Reid’s inability to express his emotions is what cost him in the end. And Ed made the smartest move ever by going over to console her when she was crying. I bet Kiptyn was wishing he had done it but I’m glad that it was Ed who went to her side.

Liar, Liar

Welcome back to Get Real! I am starting to think that this season of The Bachelorette is never going to end well with all of this drama so late in the game! So let’s just get on with it to see what happens this week.

This week, Jillian goes on five hometown dates to meet the guys’ families and find out which guy is most right for her. Her first date was with Reid in Philadelphia. They look like a cute, regular couple that would still fit in with the real world once the show is over. So far, his family seems serious about what this process entails but also doesn’t want to come off as being too serious as to scare her off. But, oh no, it seems like Reid has a little bit of hesitation of being hurt and of commitment. I sincerely hope that he gets over it because they are too cute together!

Ok, side note…I am so used to watching these shows on my DVR lately because I’ve been so busy that it’s soooo frustrating not to be able to FF through the commercials! Aahhh!

Next, Jillian went to visit Michael in New York. SO, it turns out that Michael has an identical twin brother and, naturally, they are going to do the whole “twin switcheroo.” Really? Isn’t that something you do in like third grade?? Luckily, Jillian didn’t fall for it. Cause she’s smart and, um, not eleven! Of course, the age issue came up. I understand what his brother was saying about wanting to get married early to spend time with his wife before having kids, but I still think Michael is too young for her. Maybe if Jillian were younger than I could see it working, but I think the difference in age will eventually play into her decision.

Yay for Jillian being in San Diego! I’m interested in seeing Kiptyn’s life in North County and how well they will really match. They seem to be too much of the perfect couple. His parents told her they had a test for her but they also played a joke on her and had their hot tub “caution taped” off. So what was the test? She had to say which lasagna and wine was the best! Oh man, I would fail. They are such a hoity toity family but still have fun, which is a bit rare. Then, Kiptyn’s mom told Jillian that she didn’t believe in unconditional love. And then, woah, his sister went on the defensive, too. And I’m sure they were coming from a good place but it was the first intense family situation! Maybe good, maybe bad, who knows?!

Jillian then moved up the coast to see Jesse at his family winery. I forgot how much I liked him. Apparently, Jesse’s dad is from Hungary, which I didn’t know. Jesse’s brother did not make a good impression. I am thinking that this hometown date is not going well and it definitely feels a little strained compared to the other families. Hmm, I just don’t know. I like Jesse but I don’t know if this works anymore for me. We’ll see how the whole Wes controversy and debacle goes.

So, it’s finally time for the final hometown date with Wes in Austin, Texas. Ugh, I am just dreading this and the whole interaction and his stupid lying! Ksadksalkflflksdflkndsflnjksdfljknlfd! That is my frustration and not knowing what to say at this stupid situation and HOW MUCH I HATE HIM!! Everyone single one of those guys in the band should feel awful, too, for what they are doing to her.

Thankfully Jake is coming back to save the day, though I don’t think she will realistically listen to him since I know that she takes him to Spain with the Final 4. Jake called Tanner to see if he was making the right decision.

When Jillian was waiting to meet Wes’s family, she was surprised to find Jake in front of her. Naturally, she thought that he was coming to ask for her back and ask for the reason why he left. Oh, this is so awful! You could just see her nervousness about the situation. Jake was so nervous to tell her, too. And he even knew Wes’s girlfriend’s name! I didn’t know it was specific and that he actually knew those kinds of details! I thought he was just going to tell her this. And now it’s just heartbreaking to see her so sad and actually realizing that this is true.

And now for the Wes/Jillian confrontation. Oh, this is so nerve wracking. Okay, Jillian, pay attention! You are asking him a question and he is refusing to answer it! AAAHHHHHH! This is so frustrating! Jillian, I know you don’t want to let him go because you have feelings and you don’t want to be hurt but you need to listen to what everything around you is saying! If you thought that what Jake told you was true then why are you second guessing it?! Why would Jake lie to you?? Of all the guys on this show, Jake is the LAST one that would lie to you.

So now Jake is getting involved. How can Wes even sit there and lie?! Even if he doesn’t have a girlfriend, he fully admitted to the cameras and to the other guys that he is there for his music! Why can’t the producers get involved?! I know it makes for “good television” and obviously it’s compelling because look at me typing away like a madman! But come on! Think about Jillian and what is happening to her! What if she keeps Wes around and she chooses him in the end and he leaves her because he is all big and famous now and doesn’t need her?! Ugh, this is horrible.

I am sick of this! What the hell is wrong with her?! WHY, WHY WHY would she want to go meet his parents?! WHY? She is just being stupid right now and not wanting to know what is really there. Of course, his family is sticking up for him. Let’s just wait to see what happens when they all see him lying bold faced when he says that he wants to be with her when he is really there for his music career! I hope he feels guilty about the way his family is sticking up for him when he is a horrible, horrible human being.

Oh, the most wonderful surprise ever happened! Ed came back! And he asked to come back and I hope, hope, hope that she takes him back. He is so perfect and he is the best guy for her! Come on, Jillian, make up for your mistake of keeping Wes around and take him back because you know you love him.

Awkward! The guys realized that Ed was coming back to the rose ceremony meaning that two guys would go home. You could just tell that the other guys are all really nervous now because they know he is competition. Please give Ed a rose! I am just begging you Jillian! Do not make another bad decision. Oh thank goodness. Now if only she didn’t give the last rose to Wes, but she will because she’s not thinking straight.

Next up on Get Real, a special episode of The Fashion Show and performances from the Top 14 on So You Think You Can Dance. Stay tuned :)

Nice Guys Finish Last

Welcome back to Get Real! It’s another installment of The Bachelorette and I have a feeling it’s going to be a little rocky, so let’s get right into it.

So after the disaster that was last week, what with Ed leaving and Wes staying, I’m hoping that something good will happen in this episode. However, I just know that as long as Wes is still there, things will never be calm and always rocky.

Speaking of rocky, Jillian took the remaining guys on a train ride through the Canadian Rockies! Like that transition?! Why is it that Michael is always the first one to greet Jillian and give her a hug? Those other guys should be keeping an eye on this because I’m sure it makes a difference to her!

The views from the train looked so beautiful! And it turns out that the rest of the dates would be while they were on the train. Weird. Robby got the first solo date and he has a lot of pressure on him. It’s his first solo date with her and if he gets a rose she goes home to meet his family. Talk about a rough first date! I really like Robby but I think he’s a little young for Jillian. You can tell that he’s younger just with his approach to life and his nerves. And it’s perhaps not a good sign that she is using Robby to get over her feelings for Ed. Um, okay…when you’re on a dating show with a girl where it’s sort of expected that you propose at the end, you shouldn’t tell a girl that your family has a curse of not being able to get married! Jillian made the tough choice to send Robby home. And I completely agree with it. I don’t think that he was ready for the commitment that Jillian was looking for.

I do feel a little bad for him because it was surely embarrassing for him to leave from the train!

Ok, what the hell is wrong with Wes? He basically admitted straight out that he has an agenda and that he needs this publicity to get himself more known to the public. And that he needed to slip into “Jillian mode” to make sure that he would stay. AAAHHHHH!!! I HATE him! He knows how to be so smooth and appear in just a certain way. He told her that he wants to stay with her and that he wants her to keep him around and then in the confessional said that he will always have Jillian wrapped around his finger!!! AAAAHHHHHHHH!!! I HATE HIM EVEN MORE NOW! I don’t even know what to say! I can’t believe that he is admitting this and thinking that people will like him after this! NO ONE WILL WANT TO BUY HIS RECORDS AFTER THIS! I will start a campaign against it if I have to!

Ok, time to continue. The next date was a group date with Tanner, Wes, Jake, Jesse, Kiptyn, and Michael. Which meant that Reid got a solo date. And you should have seen his cute little shocked face when he realized that he got the date! It almost makes me forget about stupid Wes. ALMOST. I was glad that Jake stepped up to the plate and gave her more attention because he has been falling by the wayside as of late. And I forgot how lovable and endearing he is! Ah, his smile makes me melt! Oh no! Jake was going to tell her how he felt about her and kiss her and the guys interrupted!

Gosh, Kiptyn is so great! You can just tell that Jillian melts in his presence. And she can’t stop smiling when she’s around him. It’s super adorable and it’s gonna be a long time before she lets him go.

Oh my! Why did Tanner show him her underwear?! It was a little awkward. You know what else was awkward? When he was massaging her feet! Aahhh, I hate feet! So weird!

I don’t think there has been a season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette where there are so many good people that I like that I don’t want to leave. Jesse was so cute during his time with her and now I am wanting him to stay longer. But I already think that with Jake and Kiptyn, too! Oh, I definitely do’t envy Jillian. Ok, well, maybe a little bit! ;)

Woah! I was surprised that Tanner told the guys that he was the one to tell Jillian about the girlfriend situation. I was also surprised that the other guys weren’t super pissed at him for it. Jake even said that he may have done the same thing. Of course, Wes went on the defensive since he clearly had something to hide. And here is where Wes dug a hole for himself. He flat out told Jesse, Jake, Kiptyn, and Tanner that he has already made it six shows and already sang his song for Jillian and that’s what he wanted out of it. He was looking for some publicity and that’s it. Oh, I am just hoping someone says something to her! Because she needs to know and I would honestly be PISSED if someone basically said that they were using me and people that I cared about and trusted didn’t tell me about it!

Kiptyn walked away with the rose for the group date, ensuring that he would get a home town date with Jillian. Yay!

I’m glad that Jake came back and talked with Jillian. It was so important that he said these things and I know that it’s important for him. But I’m thinking that she lets him go. I just have a bad feeling that she doesn’t feel the same about him.

Reid and Jillian went on their solo date next where she taught him how to snowboard. He was horrible, but it was cute. They sat down for a drink in an amazing ice sculpture. It was so cool! And it was the first time seeing them together alone and you could definitely see them being married. They have a really good report with each other and everything just seems natural. Nothing seems forced at all, which is so important.

The train ride ended in Banff where there was an absolutely beautiful hotel that looked like a castle! Before Jillian began handing out roses, she needed to speak to Michael and get some questions answered. I don’t know if she got them answered or not. And since none of the guys said anything to her about Wes, I know that he is going to get a rose! Ugh, why?! These guys are all STUPID if they think that it’s okay to keep their mouths shut because she will eventually find out. Obviously, she doesn’t know what he’s doing behind her back so she isn’t going to figure it out! And this is how someone like JAKE goes home! When Wes should be going home, Jake instead is being sent home.

Another One Bites The Dust...Or Snow...

Welcome back to Get Real! Up for today is The Bachelorette, so let’s get started!

Jillian brought the ten remaining guys to Whistler, Canada. Jillian was still wracking her brain about what happened at the last rose ceremony and was wondering who might have a girlfriend.

After bringing the guys to their hotel, Jillian left the first date card for the guys. The first solo date was with Michael. I am still not too sure why she keeps him around. He seems very nice and crazy, for sure, but I feel like he will be too crazy for her and not someone that she can be with in the long run. Jillian took Michael zip-lining, which I feel is a perfect date for them. Michael seems very adventurous and spontaneous. I love how every date is like a new metaphor for love! Haha, who knew that zip-lining really means that you are committed and willing to take chances?! It was actually cute seeing them together but I still don’t know that he is ready to be in a real relationship with her. And unfortunately, with how fast this show goes, you need to decide if a really good date means marriage. At the end of the day, Michael and Jillian had a really nice dinner, but Jillian was not going to let Michael off the hook. She had lots of tough questions for him. I almost wasn’t sure if he would get the rose, but Jillian gave it to him in the end. I still am not sure about them as a couple, but I agree that she needs to spend more time with him to figure things out.

Before the date finished, the remaining guys for their group date cared it was for Wes, Robby, Kiptyn, Tanner, Ed, Jake, Reid, Mark. Jillian took these eight guys out snowmobiling and she was surely on a mission! She wanted to question all of the guys about what happened at the last rose ceremony. And good for her! I’m glad that she’s actually confronting the situation and not just letting it go unsaid and hoping it would work out.

It was pretty awkward when Jillian pulled each guy out because then all of the guys were left chatting with each other and they were totaling bashing the guy who she was with! First it was Robby and the guys were questioning his age and maturity. Jillian, too, wanted to know about his age and I think she got the answers she was looking for. Tanner broke up the time with Robby. He wanted to talk more with Jillian about the guys with a boyfriend and I wonder if he will actually give names. Of course, he didn’t and just told her that she needed to figure things out. This is something that a best guy friend says to you! If you are interested in a girl, you say something! Ugh.

And then Wes had time with her and told her about his new CD coming out. BUT Jillian didn’t think anything of it! He basically told her that he didn’t sign up for this and his sister did it for him and that he has been working on this album for a year and a half and she didn’t think anything was weird!! Ugh, I HATE him!

Jillian has some alone time with Kiptyn next and they are just so cute! She asked him to feel her butt for goodness sake! I think he could be there til the end because they are clearly into each other. I’m starting to like Reid more, too. He’s really cute and seems like a lot of fun.

Something seems a little weird with Ed, though. He was given an ultimatum by his boss on a conference call and he was basically told that he needed to choose between Jillian and his job. I feel bad because I like him and Jillian likes him. I feel like this could be a big deal breaker and he might decide to go home. Sad. Thankfully, Jillian give him the rose for the date and hopefully, this is just what he needed to decide to stay. I really hope he doesn’t leave.

Finally it was time for Jesse’s one-on-one date. He hasn’t had a lot of time with her and, before last week’s episode, I nearly forgot that he was still there. They seemed really cute together on the plan ride. Though, it was a little hard to tell at first if Jillian liked the glacier or Jesse more. You could definitely sense that Jesse was nervous, and that was a little endearing. I was surprised and glad, too, that Jesse had some good questions for her as well and it wasn’t just her wanting to know the important answers.

Ok, so now, with only ten guys left, all these new guys are appearing as good guys who are front runners and I do not envy Jillian and her decisions at all! How is she supposed to decide between the likes of Jesse, Ed, Jake, and Kiptyn?

Oh no, oh no! Now it’s time for the dreaded moment where Ed and Jillian need to have a talk. And he’s leaving!! Ugh, this is so heartbreaking! He was so good with her and they both liked each other so much. Aahhhh! This is so hard to watch and I wish that Ed would just change his mind. And I know that he thinks he’s doing the right thing, and maybe he is, but it just sucks! He was someone I never thought would be in the front and he ending up being one of my quick favorites!

There was no cocktail party this time and Jillian got right down to business. Since Ed decided to leave, only one guy would be leaving after the rose ceremony. In the end, she sent Mark home. I was really hoping that she would have chosen Wes to go home over Mark, but perhaps she is getting closer to noticing the real Wes.

Speak Up Or Forever Lose Jillian...

Welcome back to Get Real! I am finally in the same week as the shows I’m writing about! Today’s feature is the scandalous new episode of The Bachelorette.

So let’s see how Jillian handles the news that some of the guys might have girlfriends…

The guys were told that there would be a solo date, a group date, and a two-on-one date. But that wasn’t the best part…they were then told that they were going to Vancouver, Jillian’s hometown, for a visit!

Jillian greeted the guys in Vancouver and showed them to their hotel. When she left them , she also left the first date card, which revealed that Kiptyn would be getting the solo date this week. Yay for the cute San Diego boy! I think this will be a good test to see if there is more than just a physical attraction with him. They had a fun kayaking and cooking date that I feel is actually a real date that Jillian would have outside of the show – no fancy, schmancy helicopters, concerts, etc., just a day at the store and doing outdoorsy things. They were very cute and couple-y the entire time which was super adorable. In the beginning, I just thought of Kiptyn as a hot surfer guy but on this date I got to see his softer side and I can really see Jillian being with him. He’s super cute and you can tell that they are both just totally into each other!

While the rest of the guys were waiting around in the hotel, the next date card came for David, Ed, Jake, Jesse, Juan, Michael, Reid, Robby, Tanner P., and Wes. That means that Mike and Mark are left for the dreaded two-on-one date and that one of them is definitely going home. The group date was a curling date. The guys were split into teams and the winning team would get to go on a dinner date with Jillian. The teams were Reid, Wes, Ed, Michael, and Tanner P on the Blue Team and Jake, David, Jesse, Robby, and Juan on the Red Team. And, after a power shot from Jesse, the Red Team were the winners! Poor Michael wanted to win so bad and was actually being really cute with Jillian, despite how annoying he is.

On their dinner date, Jillian had good conversations with Jake and Jesse. BUT then she had some alone time with David and she started to see his real side. I wish she could have just sent him home right away after that time because he was so inappropriate with her! It was really offensive, actually, and she said the same thing herself! Ugh, he’s majorly gross.

Finally, it was time for the two-on-one date with Mark and Mike. I am sincerely hoping that she gives Mike the rose because I barely even remember who Mark is! I was surprised he even got a rose last week. Right from the beginning, Mike was out to impress Jillian. He ran out to see her and then he sat in between them in the helicopter so it was more like Mark was the brother who was tagging along rather than someone who is dating Jillian. However, I think he was starting to lay it on a little thick and it looked like he was trying too hard. In the end, Jillian gave the rose to Mark. And while I was upset, by the end of the date, I thought that neither of them were right for her and no matter who she gave the rose to, neither of the guys would be staying much longer.

Then the remaining guys joined Jillian for a cocktail party. And this is when the claws came out. I swear, the guys are worse than the girls on The Bachelor! Reid started out with saying that some of the guys are not who they appear when they are not around her. The Tanner P. revealed in a confessional that Wes told him that he had a girlfriend back home (!). And then Jake and Tanner P. both hinted to Jillian that there are guys there for the wrong reasons.

Jillian then confronted all of the guys and told them that the cocktail party was over because of all the rumors going around. Naturally, some guys were pissed that their time with Jillian was taken away. And some guys were probably shocked because you know they were thinking that she could have been talking about them.

Before Jillian would start the rose ceremony, Chris and Jillian confronted all of the men again. And boy, was it awkward. Of course, none of the guys were willing to say anything. A lot of guys said that they wanted to know who it was and some of the guys wanted to know who was the snitch. I’m glad that both Chris and Jillian respected the integrity of those guys who mentioned things to her. So, the whole thing was left with no resolution and Jillian still needed to make a decision.

In the end, Jillian sent David and Juan home. At least she was able to see through both of them. Now she just needs to see the real side of Wes and we can be assured that the rest of the guys there are good! Poor Jillian, though. It doesn’t seem like next week is going to get much better. It seems like there is a lot more drama to come.

She's A Little Bit Country...

Welcome back to Get Real! Up for today is The Bachelorette, so let’s get started!

This week, the guys were surprised with two individual dates and one group date. The first guy to get his individual date was Ed. And I gotta say that I’m excited for this! He’s been a little quiet up to this point but he’s really cute and seems a bit more grounded then some of these other faux-frat boys. Jillian and Ed went on a helicopter ride and this was the first helicopter ride Jillian had taken since being with Jason. But if Ed was surprised to receive the first solo date of the day, he was shocked by the next thing that Jillian had in store for him. She was having the two of them zip-line down a huge building in downtown LA. Wow, that was a pretty adventurous date. And Ed has now risen in the ranks and he’s definitely one of my favorites! And he got a rose! Yay!

While Ed and Jillian were finishing up their date, the next date card arrived. The card was for the group date and the guys are: Reid, Wes, Mike, Michael, Tanner F., Mark, Brad, Robbie, Tanner P., Kiptyn, and Juan. The guys were taken to a movie set of an Old Western movie. The guys were all the actors in the movie. All of the guys got to kiss Jillian in their scenes except for Mike and Michael who had to do a gay cowboy scene! Uh, really?! That seems a little weird. Robby and Jillian had a little moment together in their scene when they kissed. Jillian felt it was very real and it was certainly cute to see him as nervous as he was! Juan and Wes were up their usual ways. I really dislike both of them Wes more than Juan, but I still don’t like either of them.

Why is it that every time there is a date it seems like they end up in a pool or hot tub?! Naturally, Tanner P. went straight for Jillian’s feet. Gross! Then she had a little moment with Robby that was so cute! And luckily, he got the rose!

Then it was time for Sasha’s individual date. Jillian took Sasha to a car museum and they took some cute photos in the cars. Then they went for a drive in a Ferrari. Sasha revealed that he was in a horrible accident when he was 18 that should have left him paralyzed, if not dead. It seemed like they were having a great time on their date but she was worried about living up to his expectations. And although I loved Sasha and I wanted him to stay, I think that Jillian was right to send him home if she wasn’t feeling any future with him or having major hesitations. However, at the same time, I think having one date with someone is not enough to decide your future. Especially if it’s not a bad date! Oh well, that’s the problem with this show!

Back at home, Wes was singing his song for Jillian to the guys. Weird. Ugh, and then Wes came and serenaded Jillian at her window with his song. He said he finished the song for her and then asked if he could finish the song for her on her balcony. What is the most annoying about this is that Jillian does not see how stupid he is!

During his alone time with her at the cocktail party, David was actually beginning to open up to her. If I had never seen how he was outside of his interactions with Jillian, I could actually think he was a good guy. But then he got crazy about Juan breaking up his conversation and became typical David again. It’s a good indication how he would be with other guys around Jillian if they were actually in a relationship. Not someone you want to be in a relationship with!

But, at the same time, I do think Juan is stupid. Every opportunity he has to talk to Jillian he is constantly sucking up to her and saying the “right” things. I think it’s something that would get old quickly and I’m confident that Jillian will find it out soon enough.

So who went home? Jillian sent home Brad and Tanner F.

Speedo vs. Skinny Dipping

Welcome back to Get Real! Tonight’s feature presentation is The Bachelorette!

This is when the show starts! Jillian has her men chosen and we actually get to start with the dates! The 20 guys moved into the bunk house down the driveway from Jillian’s huge LA mansion. The guys were told that there would be three dates: two group dates and one group date. Each date would have a rose and those guys who got the three roses would get to move into the mansion with Jillian. But, not everyone would get to go on a date this week. So, whoever didn’t get a date is pretty screwed!

The first group date was: Michael, Sasha, Brian, Tanner P., Brad, Ed, Mathue, and Wes. The date started as a pool party and then it turned into a scavenger hunt! Michael, the only guy in the house, thought he was getting the rose as Jillian took the rose and left the pool area. But unbeknownst to them all, Jillian took off for the guys to find her. The guys were separated into teams of two and only one of the guys on the winning team would get a special date with Jillian. Team Ed and Brian were the first to get their tuxes but Team Wes and Brad were the first to find the second clue in the kitchen. Team Ed and Brian made up for their time lost and met the jeweler to find the necklaces first. Team Sasha and Mathue were next, followed by Team Wes and Brad. Poor Team Tanner P. and Michael were last in all of the challenges – though maybe that’s because they were too busy bromancing in the car. Jillian was waiting for the guys in a vault and where she was going to have dinner with the chosen guy from the winning team.

Team Wes and Brad was the first team to make it to the vault and Jillian was then faced the decision of choosing which guy she would have dinner with. She ended up choosing Wes and I can’t say I’m surprised. Wes and Brad clearly didn’t make a good team and they hated each other. Naturally, Brad was pissed and decided that Wes was clearly not there for Jillian and had ulterior motives. Inside the vault, Jillian was like a giddy schoolgirl with Wes and told him that her girlfriends would totally think she’s his type.

Meanwhile, back at the house, it was revealed that Jake (!) was going on the solo date! Yay!

While Jillian was having a good time with Wes, she was also very reserved and felt the need to protect herself around him because she wasn’t sure if she is his type. I think she’s worried about his music career and that part of his life. But, she still gave him a kiss and the rose for that date, causing the rest of the guys watching on a mini TV to be so shocked and upset. Jumping on Brad’s bandwagon, the rest of the guys began to question Wes’s motives. Blah, blah, jealousy, blah!

Then it was time for Jillian to go on her solo date with Jake! The date had a cute country theme to it. She was wearing Jake’s pilot wings that he gave her on the first night, along with a cute black, fringed tube dress and red cowboy boots. First, she took Jake to a western shop so that his outfit could match hers. They had some cute flirty chemistry going on that was so first date jitters but über cute. They went to a bar afterwards and Jillian danced Coyote-Ugly-style on the bar for Jake followed by some two-stepping. The two shared some serious conversation about the future and it was so cute to see. I really hope that she keeps him around longer ‘cause they are cute together. Then Jillian surprised Jake with a performance from Martina McBride. And of course, Jake walked away with a rose.

Group date #2 went to: Jesse, Mark, David, Mike, Simon, Kiptyn, and Juan. The guys were taken to a basketball court in Venice Beach. It was funny to see the guys get so competitive during the game, especially when she brought out the Harlem Globetrotters. David, especially, was taking the competition too seriously wand was going whatever he could to get attention. He is just getting way too cocky. Jillian’s smartest move was to make the guys take off their shirts. The guys chose David as the best guy for Jillian, but I don’t know what that was based on! Mike went and grabbed a guy’s Speedo and ran into the ocean. Gotta say, it was pretty funny and kinda hot! He may have been pretty cheesy with his “perfect catch” line in the premiere, but he is working his way up to the top three!

The date continued to a poolside reception. Again, David started acting weird and he was complaining about Juan. Though I think David is pretty stupid, I don’t really like Juan either. He seems a little fake and annoying. Jillian pulled Kiptyn to the side next. He revealed that he is normally the one to end things in a relationship which is a baby red flag but I think too early to tell if it’s going to be an issue. And the third rose went to…Mike!

Soon it was time for the pre-rose ceremony reception. Finally, Jillian noticed that Tanner P. has a creepy foot fetish. Then Jillian took Jesse aside, which was nice since he didn’t make much of an impression on the group date. Robby, who didn’t go on a date, made a signature drink for Jillian but before he could really get into a conversation with her, Wes interrupted their time and “joked” about her already cheating on him.

Similar to last season, the guys were told they had to write down the name of the guy they wanted to be sent home that night. Last season, it was turned around and the girl who had the most votes actually got to stay. I doubt that they would actually send home a guy right now. If it weren’t for the fact that Wes already had a rose, I can guarantee that he would have received the most votes. Now, I think it’s going to be a toss-up between Juan and Dave.

Breaking some of the tension, Brian starts taking off his clothes and jumped into the pool naked. Uh, what?! Why did he feel the need for this? Pretty awkward…

Now, time for the votes: the third most vote-getter was Julien, then came Dave (no surprise!) with the next most, and the guy with the most votes was Juan. But Jillian was able to veto the guys’ vote and offer Juan a rose to save him. Not surprising, Jillian gave Juan the rose. I still think Jillian is playing it a little safe and nice, but she will soon see that Juan is nothing special and there are better guys in the house.

So, here are my pre-rose ceremony predictions on who will not get a rose: Julien, Brad, Mark, and Tanner F.

And who did Jillian actually send home? Mathue, Brian, Simon, and Julien. At least I got one right! And boys should all take note: its okay to run around in a Speedo but not naked! Remember, a little fabric can go a long way!

Next up on Get Real, a special non-competition post about the gossip-worthy Jon and Kate Plus 8 premiere!

Dancing and Dating

Welcome back to Get Real! Tonight's was a full circle of bachelorette-dom with the performance finale of Dancing with the Stars and the premiere of The Bachelorette. First up, DWTS!
It’s the first part of the finale and, gosh, am I excited! Can I just say, though, that it seems as if Cheryl already feels like she and Gilles have won? She is getting more and more smug as the seasons wear on. And she always seems as if she is looking down at Shawn and Melissa when the couples are lined up at the beginning of the show.
Bruno went to visit Shawn & Mark for a little coaching in their solo session. Her most recent attempt at the Paso earned her a score of 29/30 so she really needs to do well to top that! Then, Carrie Ann went to see Melissa & Tony, who only scored a 25/30 during their last Paso. Last, Len coached Gilled & Cheryl to reach that perfect score after receiving a 29/30 on their first try.

The couples came out to dance their Paso Dobles with a fiery opening. Shawn & Mark were first in their solos and she looked great! It was very fierce, passionate, and appropriate for her age. Melissa was next on the floor and it was like a vampire Paso! She looked hot and kinda dominatrix-esque. I bet Jason’s kicking himself right now seeing her do so well and look so good! However, it seemed a little too soft for me and not hard enough. I was surprised to see Gilles & Cheryl in white cause I fully expeted them to be in red or black. He did very good in his Paso and definitely carried the male dominance of the dance. In the final but where all three couples were dancing together, Shawn was hitting her movements with such edge and hardness where Melissa still seemed a little too soft.
The judges seemed to love all of the performances but tended to claim Melissa as the weakest and Gilles as the strongest. I do think it’s unfair for Carrie Ann to say that Shawn doesn’t have the same emotional connections as Gilles because she’s only 17 years old and if she was acting too much like Gilles it would be highly inappropriate!
And I think she’s showing just enough passion and sexiness for her age. Perhaps I am just showing my favoritism for Shawn here too much, but I do think it’s unfair.

Up next were the anticipated freestyles! Shawn & Mark were first to go and they got a visit from Season 4 Winner and Olympic Gold Medalist Apollo Anton Ohno!! Yay, love him! I’m glad that they are holding back on all of the gymnastics since the judges were not too enthusiastic about it last time. Ooh, and so excited to see them sporting some Jabbawockeez masks, albeit bedazzled! It was like a fun broadway inspired dance that was incredible athletic and definitely showed off what Shawn has learned this season. You can’t help but love their dance! It was so nice to see how excited Mark was, too. You could tell that he wanted them to succeed so badly and was just as nervous and excited about the comments as Shawn was! This was definitely one of the best freestyles ever! And their score...PERFECT 30 OUT OF 30!!
Melissa & Tony took the dance floor next and I gotta say I had no idea what to expect out of these two. Melissa’s always proven to be a good dancer from the beginning, but she was hailed for her ballet and cheerleading skills rather than ballroom technique. So, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be too cheery or if they were going to try for more ballroom. They went for a hip hop themed dance and I approve since that seems more like Melissa’s style but I was not digging Tony’s uber tight see-through shirt. He should have just been shirtless in my opinion! There were certainly a lot of tricks here but it seems a little scattered and maybe Tony was making up for how safe his last freestyle was with Stacey in Season 2. All the judges wished that she had gone more elegant because of her ballet training, which is a little odd because of all the times they have criticized her for it in the past, but I see what they were going for. The judges rewarded her with 27 out of 30.
Gilles & Cheryl finished off the night with their freestyle. I am not liking his outfit at all. Why is he wearing jeans with a ripped sparkly black t-shirt? It’s a little gross and “sleazy guy at the club!” Although, from the music, I can see that it was meant to be a little 80’s-esque, so it’s a bit better. It was overall good, but it seemed to be more about Cheryl than Gilles. Often times, he wasn’t doing much dancing, but just lifting, holding or caressing Cheryl as she danced around him and slid on him all sexily. Surprisingly, Carrie Ann and Bruno agreed with me about there not being enough dancing from Gilles! Hooray! Ultimately, he ended up with a 28 out of 30.

So, the final scoreboard going into the results show:
Shawn & Mark – 58 out of 60
Gilles & Cheryl – 58 out of 60
Melissa & Tony – 56 out of 60
My predictions? I think Gilles will win even though I want Shawn to win. I guess we will have to wait for the last dance tomorrow for judges scores to see if anything might change that.

Now onto The Bachelorette premiere!

Yay!! SO excited that The Bachelorette is starting and that Jillian is it! She’s just so darn cute and down to earth, you just want her to do well and find the perfect man. Here’s to Jillian and her search for “Mr. Invisible!”

So, who are these guys who think they’re worthy of Jillian’s love? Well, considering that some of them will soon drift off into oblivion, here are my Top Guys and Bottom Guys pre-rose ceremony...

Top Guys:

  1. Jake, the pilot from Texas – He is CUTE! And he called himself a “Hopeful romantic!” Aww!
  2. Kiptyn, the event planner from San Diego - Ok, yes, he is hot but he also seems really nice and genuine.
  3. Sasha from Texas – He’s very cute and definitely interested in family. And I like how he equated the awkwardness of meeting the guys like your first high school dance!
Bottom Guys:
  1. Julien from Rancho Santa Fe – Super stiff, arrogant, and sleazy!
  2. Greg the fitness model – Gross!! No, no, no!
  3. Brian from Atlanta – Hot tub Harris?! Clearly he just thinks she’s hot!
  4. Tanner P, one of the new guys – His disgusting foot fetish…nothing more to say!
I love that all the guys are thanking Jason for ditching Jillian so that they could have a chance with her. But what’s more amazing is that they even watched the show or know enough about her to want to pursue her and come on the show! It’s so fun, too, to see the guys being all gossipy and talking about their nerves when meeting a new girl and how cute she is and how her white dress is intimidating! Ha, love it!
Upon her entry into the mansion to meet all the hot single men, Jillian advised the men to “Please be yourself.” And I gotta say, this is probably the most important advice Jillian could give to the guys! With all of the fancy-schmancy dates that are incredibly unrealistic out in the real dating world plus the fast-paced environment, the only way any guy could truly hope to end up with Jillian is if they were themselves the whole way through. Otherwise, we will just end up with another failed Reality TV romance and most likely, another bachelor for next season!
Jake the pilot stepped up to the plate and pulled Jillian aside first. Good job for him cause he’s my number one so far! Jesse took the reins next and broke Jake and Jillian’s moment. Did he really just call wine “Love Juice?” Really? And then he made a shirt that said “Aspiring Canadian?” Puh-lease! Next!
Tanner in the bright green shirt pulled her over to the pull and openly admitted that he watched last season. Though it’s good that he is there for her, I would definitely have to think twice about a single guy who willingly watched The Bachelorette.
Jillian pulled her first guy aside and it was Kiptyn from San Diego! He seemed so real and sincere. I greatly hope that he is ‘cause he is a definite front-runner! Plus, it’s also nice to see that San Diego does have some good guys!
Juan then took Jillian inside and talked to her about his family and profession. He seems really cute and although he seems a little nervous and trying a bit too hard to impress her, you can tell that he is excited to meet her.
Kyle then drew a mustache on Jillian’s finger and it sort of made me like him more! Just when I had written him off, he pulled out the finger mustache! I suppose only my friends will know how funny that is! And Brian, the jerk from Atlanta, was left in the dust! Ha!
And just as expected, Wes pulled out his guitar and sang a song to her! Whoop-di-do, big surprise there! Boring!
Michael then proceeded to give Jillian a break dancing lesson and I gotta say that I liked him more! He was very cute with Jillian and I was glad that he seemed toned down even while doing his whole break-dancing bit. And Jillian seemed to enjoy it, so that’s always good. Plus, he took the opportunity to battle and completely beat down Greg the gross fitness model, who was my least favorite out of all the guys. Hooray!
David opened up after his awkward and stiff first impression and it was nice to see that he could work past his nerves.
Then, the major bombshell…Jillian was so popular as the next choice for the bachelorette that 5 more guys were brought into the picture! For the first time ever, there will be 30 bachelors instead of 25! Dun-dun-dun!
Then she met with Ed and Tanner P, two of the new guys. Ed seemed really nice but not super memorable. Tanner P was a first-class creeper with his gross foot fetish! I can understand if someone wants feet to look nice because they can be gross but he was just weird about it! His whole conversation with her was just him trying to see her feet! There was nothing real about it at all. And I cringe at the thought of any future dates her may have with her by trying to give her foot massages, pedicures, etc. Ugh!
And the first impression rose goes to…David! I admit, I was surprised because I thought there were many others who were better deserving of it. However, I can see that why she chose him since he made a point of making a second first-impression. But I feel like Jillian was trying to be nice and dear Jillian, this is not the time to be nice! Go for what you want because that’s what’s going to matter in the end!
So, what happens during the rose ceremony?
First to be called for a rose is…Jake the pilot!! Whoo hoo! Wes was to be expected, but I predict he will get old fast with his whole musician thing. My other favorites, Kiptyn and Sasha, each got their roses while some of my non-faves, such as Tanner P, Julien, and Brian B, were given roses as well. I guess though when you have to keep 20 guys, you have to end up with some of the bad guys. Let’s just home that they start leaving ASAP so the good guys can continue to stay!
At least Greg the fitness model was sent home. And it was weird to hear John P saying that he already thought that Jillian was his soul mate…uh, you just met her!
Overall, a good premiere and definitely some good guys for our girl Jillian! Here’s to a good (hopefully!) season, although it looks like it will be pretty rocky from the previews of upcoming episodes! :/
Up next on Get Real, the American Idol final performance and DWTS results! Stay tuned :)

Word to the Wise...

Welcome back to Get Real! As we near summer and Reality TV heaven, here is a list of shows that I may write about and a list that I definitely will not write about.

Get Ready for:
  • The Bachelorette with Jillian Harris (ABC), premieres Monday, May 17 - here's hoping that our favorite Canadian sweethear can find true love and ward off any potential Jason Mesnicks!
  • So You Think You Can Dance (Fox), premieres Thursday, May 21 - thanks to my parents for introducing me to this show in season 2!
  • Top Chef Masters (Bravo), premieres June 17 - I'll give it a try to see if it's any good, but seeing as I'm not a major foodie myself, I might care less for the real top chef contestants.
  • Big Brother 11 (CBS), premiere TBA - I know not many people are BB fans, but this is my major guilty pleasure so you'll just have to deal with it :)
Don't Hold Your Breath for:
  • The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo) - come on, people, it's New Jersey! :/
  • Charm School III (Vh1)- though it could be interesting to see Ricki Lake try and whip these girls into shape, I don't think any of them will really walk away with any more class than they started with (which to be honest, was basically none).
  • America's Got Talent - maybe if I lived in England I would blog about Britain's Got Talent cause they are way into their reality shows across the pond, but I have no desire to hear from Piers, Sharon, David or new host, Nick Cannon. Sorry Mr. Mariah Carey.
  • Hitched or Ditched (CW) - this show seems so horrible! Give stuggling couples a week to plan a wedding and at the end they either get married or the whole thing's off. Uh, no thanks!
  • I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (NBC) - I don't think I need to give an explanation here...
  • NYC Prep (Bravo) - the last thing we need is a real life GossipGirl to breed fake celebrities like the Lauren Conrads, Heidi Montags, and Kim Kardashians out there.
  • Daisy of Love (Vh1) - I was never a fan of Daisy when she was on Rock of Love so I have desire to watch her on her own quest to find "love".

So, as you can see, the list of things to come is much shorter than those not to come. And for any other new shows that decide to show up, here are my basic rules of whether or not it is worthy of Get Real:

  1. If it's not a competition show, you can basically rule it out! Though I do love me some mini-marathons of Ghost Hunters, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Say Yes to the Dress, What Not to Wear and others, it's basically just the same thing over and over again.
  2. If it's a competition show on MTV that's not America's Best Dance Crew, chances are it's not worth my time.
  3. If it in any way involves Heidi Montag or Spencer Pratt, I will not review it. Unless they are on DWTS, in which case I will pretend they don't exist and skip them completely.

Up next on Get Real, the finale of DWTS and the premiere of The Bachelorette! Stay tuned :)
