cheers: hgtv's design star

After spending a long weekend at home a while ago, I became obsessed with HGTV. I was, thus, introduced to Design Star!

I had no idea that there were three past seasons of this show or that my fave HGTV host, David Bromstad, of Color Splash was the original winner of this show! Each week, the competing designers are given design challenges ranging from kids' rooms to large backyard makeovers to celebrity rooms. And two of my other favorite HGTV personalities, Vern Yip and Genevieve Gorder, both of traditional Trading Spaces fame, serve as judges.

It's down to the final two, Dan and Antonio. I'm just glad that Jason is gone because any guy who knowingly wears a pink puffy shirt a la Seinfeld on a design show deserves to be kicked off!
