Each team would need to create 4 crepes – breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert – to show off their creativity and respect for French Cuisine. Too bad no one could actually maneuver the crepe making technique! J.P. helped Chef Ramsay on the taste test, since he is…well…not French…but Belgian. Ariel scored a point for the Red Team with a smoked salmon breakfast crepe. Andy scored a surprise win with his Ham, Cheese, and Avocado lunch crepe. Both Kevin and Suzanne scored points with their dinner crepes, though stupid Suzanne could have easily lost a point with her mindless babbling. So, it all came down to David and Sabrina and their dessert crepes – the easiest type of crepe to make! Wow, they didn’t even try David’s crepe because it looked like crap!
As the losing team, the men needed to prep both kitchens for their French themed dinner service while the women were whisked off to a famous French restaurant and some mime lessons.
Aaahhh! During dinner prep, Andy sliced the tips of his fingers on a potato slicer thing. Aaahh, I am cringing and balled up on my couch right now watching this! Ugh…proof why I could never be a doctor. Wow, and he actually came back! I would have been so nervous seeing him in the kitchen and just seeing that glove on his hand is making me squeamish. Naturally, he is slowing down the team.
On the Red Team, Suzanne slowed her team down. Why call out 1-minute to the pass and then tell your other chefs that it really needs 8-minutes! Not cool. And, oh wow, Dave was just picking up all of the slack from his kitchen and he still only has one hand! Incredible.
Sabrina continued the chain of disasters with her lack of seasoning on the frog’s legs. This, along with Suzanne’s continued mess-ups on the lamb got the two ladies thrown out of the kitchen. But this was after Andy was thrown out for standing by and watching as Kevin took over his stations. Just when it looked like he was going to chuck out Tennille and Ariel, he had them finish the dinner service and complete all of the stations.
In the end, there was no winning team since each team had people kicked out of their kitchens. So, the two teams needed to come to a consensus as to who needed to be sent home. The chefs put up Suzanne and Andy. While Chef Ramsay sent Andy home, the chefs were thrown for a major shock as Suzanne was sent to the Blue Team. Doesn’t seem like the men are too excited about this. Honestly, I can't blame them!
